Our Story
After years of working together to revolutionize events in the dental industry, Elijah, Sandra, Devinn, and Shauna joined forces with Stephanie Meininger, a 26-year event planner, to establish Hype Events. With diverse backgrounds and experience in the events world, our founders bring a wealth of experience and creativity to the table which offers clients a team of seasoned professionals.

Elijah Desmond
With a background in the dental industry and a flair for out-of-the-box creativity, Elijah is the driving force behind Hype Events. As the original founder of Smiles At Sea and the Dental Festival, Elijah's enegry and business prowess fuels the team's innovation. Elijah’s events and experiences focus on two things: FUN and Education.
Stephanie Meininger
With 26+ years in hospitality and event management, Stephanie excels at understanding and delivering what her clients' need with her effective contract negotiation and execution approach. As an event planner and entrepreneur, Stephanie consults with various organizations to offer business strategies and solutions.
Devinn Geeson
Dr. Devinn Geeson, "The Pep-Talk Doc," is a dentist and entrepreneur who scaled three dental practices to a $6 million valuation in under five years. Now a speaker and coach, she inspires professionals with her #LiveYourToday platform. Dr. Geeson also applies her expertise to speaking, consulting, and events within the dental community.

Shauna Hurst is a talented event planner known to ensure clients feel supported while crafting impactful events. She dedicates herself to ensuring her clients feel prepared and supported every step of the way. Shauna truly thrives during onsite execution where her dedication and expertise shine through bringing events to life.

As a seasoned meeting planner and continuing education specialist, Sandra brings her expertise in CE course creation and approval to the meeting and events industry.
